To facilitate this, separate red coaches have been installed in public toilets across the city, making it easier for women to settle sanitary waste responsibly.

These organizations also encourage schools to set up sanitary pads vending machines and settlement systems. In addition, the IEC team of the city promotes hygiene disposal practices. According to the report of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, about 300-350 kg from homes, hospitals in Karad Nagar. This waste is collected in a separate compartment in the garbage collection vehicle. This waste is sorted and burnt in a high temperature machine by the Karad Hospital Association. The gas released from it is filtered. All this work is done under the supervision of the State Pollution Controller Board. The Karad Municipal Council and Karad Hospital Association work together to get this waste disposed.

The spread of diseases is stopped
The better sanitary waste management system in the city of Karad has positively affected both public health and environmental stability. This has reduced the financial burden on Karad Municipal Council. Attack at high temperatures of sanitary waste has greatly reduced health risk and pollution. This has also ensured the safety of the sanitation workers handling the waste. The city has prevented environmental erosion by eliminating dumping of sanitary waste in open dumping and it has prevented the spread of diseases.
